Azure Meetup - Microsoft Fabric

Azure Meetup Frankfurt - Lecture on 12.02.2025 17:30-19:00

Title of the presentation:

Microsoft Fabric - Holistic monitoring for your Fabric Environment

Abstract:

Start the new year with us! Join us for our first Meetup 2025, where we are delighted to welcome our Microsoft colleague Gellert Gintli, who works as a Cloud Solution Architect. He will talk about Microsoft Fabric - a product launched in May 2023 that provides a comprehensive set of analytics capabilities in a single environment.

An important part of the Fabric rollout is monitoring. In many cases, Power BI/Fabric admins, platform and workspace owners want visibility into their environment.

In this session, we will show you two Solution Accelerator Templates that will help you monitor and analyze telemetry, metadata, but also trends and anomalies in your fabric environment to better understand the current and future needs of your users.

During the session, we will show you FUAM (Fabric Unified Admin Monitoring), which focuses on monitoring at the tenant level. In the second part of the session we will show you the brand new preview feature “Workspace Monitoring” with advanced analytics capabilities and we have the special opportunity to welcome Iris Kaminer, Principal Product Manager from the Fabric Real Time Intelligence team.

Iris Kaminer, three other colleagues and Gellert Gintli have been working on the Workspace Monitoring Report Templates. She will give exciting insights into her work and share her know-how in Workspace Monitoring.

You are cordially invited to participate in this Meetup. As always, after the session you are invited to network in the impressive Microsoft office high above the Frankfurt skyline.
