VDMA

We are a founding member of the VDMA Expert Group for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

As a member of the Software and Digitalization Association in VDMA, we actively participate in working groups such as Industry 4.0, IoT, and AI/ML. Our main focus lies in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Through targeted knowledge transfer, we assist companies in the mechanical and plant engineering industry in effectively utilizing the outcomes.

The goal of the expert group is to develop guidelines and roadmaps, among other things. It also addresses important questions regarding collaboration with institutes and IT service providers. The Machine Learning expert group has been producing and publishing publications and support materials for VDMA members since 2017.

IoT Use Case

IoT Use Case explains the benefits of the Internet of Things (IoT) for the industry and brings stakeholders together. Through the resulting network of digitization experts and IoT product developers, businesses across industries learn from solutions implemented by other companies, fostering direct exchange of experiences. With over 70 industrial partners and more than 350 use cases, this Berlin-based expert network helps identify opportunities arising from IoT, thereby enhancing awareness of new possibilities and technologies in practice. IoT Use Case functions as a cross-company IoT interest community with the objective of advancing the knowledge transfer of digital solutions and product developments from a user perspective, enabling IoT technologies to create value in the market.
