Our Offering: The Cloud Workshop for Modernizing and Migrating a Real Application to Azure
In this 1-day workshop, our experts guide you through the entire process and show you how to approach your modernization projects. The “Microsoft Workshop: .NET Modernization” provides the necessary expertise to successfully migrate your .NET applications to the cloud. This workshop is part of the Microsoft Azure Immersion Workshops, where Azure expertise and practical experience are made available to our customers.
Overall, the workshop will consist of three steps:
1. Evaluation of the current application: We will assess the existing applications and define the requirements for migrating to the cloud.
2. Migration of the .NET application to the cloud: We will migrate the application step by step to the Azure cloud and configure all the necessary Azure services. For non-.NET applications, they will be reimplemented accordingly. We will collaboratively select and evaluate the best technology and configuration for your needs.
3. Data migration: We will migrate the data to the appropriate cloud database. This can include SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB, Blob/Storage, or other databases. The data will be encrypted and can be stored in parallel at multiple physical locations in Azure, according to your preferences. In this workshop, we will evaluate an MVP solution and prepare our clients for the migration to the cloud.
By the end of the workshop, our clients will have a better understanding of cloud migration for .NET and other applications and will be able to apply the process to their own projects. Our experts will also be available to our clients for questions and further support even after the workshop.
